I feel that empire got kinda baited by the aegis into taking teamfights during a period of the game where they just couldnt afford to.
I think they could have still defended highground vs. Aegis (especially the first one) comfortable.
Its captain hindsight here ofc.

Empires draft also doesn't seem to be particularly good against a 5-man heavy push strategy. They have neither good AoE nor good teamifght, they only have good pickup.
