Super bummed that I bought a ticket and will be at work through the whole thing. I've always, always, always been of the opinion that LANs should take place during prime time in the region in which they are taking place. I have been up at some weird hours to watch events in China and such. This lan probably should not have started until like 2-3 pm local time. Just my opinion obviously. Edit: on the topic of the actual results, I'm going with EG and secret. I really do think its a toss up between them and the Chinese. Too close to call really. I'm erring on the side of sumail/fear and rtz/zai/s4 really bringing their A games.

I agree at least in terms of events that have live spectators. Obviously starting at 9am or something is not ideal if you want a good atmosphere in the venue the event is at. But as far as the Summit goes they have no live spectators so they are catering to their online audience only. In that regard it may be understandable that they have as European friendly times as they can, without starting at some ridiculous hour local time. Though of course I don't really know how the viewership numbers are typically spread around the globe. But even with the Summit I feel there are some issues with starting really early. At least I have a feeling from last time that as they start quite early each day, the "studio" part for the first game of the day and the atmosphere in general isn't quite there. Later on there's a lot of people in the house, people hop on to give their opinions or talk about random stuff. But no players other than the ones playing the match are getting up really early, and even the BTS crew and whatever "personalities" they have there essentially just woke up. Though I'm not really complaining as this way the times are way better for me personally.

I mean, arguably 6.83 was not fully figured out even when 6.84 came out according to some, i would not think anyone figured out 6.84 yet, even tho the recipe sounds simpler than crack.
