picks up Dota team again
Chaos, or as they were previously known: "Digital Chaos", has picked up a Dota 2 team again after their previous squad disbanded in April, last year. The new team features two faces that fans of the organization will instantly remember, Rasmus "MISERY" Filipsen and Aliwi "w33" Omar who will be forever remembered for their amazing underdog run during TI6. In fact, the entire team should be known to even the most casual of fans as they were, up until the Chaos signing, playing under the paiN Gaming banner.
That the players decided to change organization comes as no surprise. A report from late last year detailed some unethical actions from the team towards the players, such as very low salaries and the organization taking a huge cut of any winnings. Throughout this entire ordeal, the players did not wear paiN Gaming's uniform during official matches, a sign that something was wrong.
That seems to be all behind the squad now and they will immediately change over their new organization but will remain in the South American region, even though Chaos is a North American organization. The first chance to get a glimpse of the "new" team will be later this week, with the start of the Chongqing Major, as they are one of the two South American teams qualified for the Major.
Update 16/1/2019 12:30 CET:
According to his Twitter account, UK 7k support player TeaGuvnor will be coaching Chaos for the Major. It's at this point not known if this is a permanent position.
