We are trying and learning

Q: Congratulations on qualifying to the Major, introduce yourselves!
A: Position 1 zhizhizhi: Very mental, can be either a god or a dog. Very good play under pressure. Usually we will have good news when we are leading the game at third or fourth minute from our safe lane: Rong, ‘I can stay in this lane, get some XP for yourself, I am off to the jungle.’
Position 2 Ying: New PK4-God (T/N: a Dota 1 player who now plays PUBG). Very shy when he first joined the team. He used just to be ‘oh..oh..oh’ when we were analysing replays. Now he will just shout: ‘Don’t come to mid! You are going to roam me to death again!’
Position 3 Dark: Rather cute usually, very chubby and adorable. But when he suddenly gets excited, he becomes a hurried duck: ‘Fight! Fight! Fight! Let’s fight!’
Position 4 YFTX: This team’s veteran. Always in the frontline of teamfights. He is not finished when he is alive. Even when he is dead he will instruct teammates ‘Can still fight! Can still fight!’ Then teammates die.
Position 5 Rong: Seemingly smart and sage-like. When a fight starts he will just go ‘Go and bait, I can save you. Ah. Why did you die so fast?’ One of our feeding support duo.
Coach: Why are you so bad?

Q: From OQ to Final, it must have been extemely hard. Talk to us about your feelings in the ESL Qualifier.
A: Our hard work paid off.
Q: As a new club, what is different for you from the rest of the teams?
A: Since the team has just been founded, a lot of things are not completed. We are trying and learning. We might be different in terms of atmosphere. We all are full of drive and passion.
Q: You came from one match away from the main qualifier for TI7 to different qualifiers to getting this Major ticket, what has gone through the team? What made you grow so fast?
A: We are just being stable and steady in improving. The reason we improved is that we have an energetic and passionate environment. Everyone wants to improve themselves and they will also help their teammates improve.
Q: The transfer window has closed. Bigger clubs have made many changes. You achieved good results without making personnel changes. What are the factors you consider when making a change?
A: Every player has their own pros and cons. Maximising the pros and minimising the cons are the thing you need to pay attention to when making a new team. A simple player change is not going to solve the problem. If a player is not irredeemable, it is better to let the player assimilate into the team. This is the way to make the team play at its best.
Q: In yesterday’s final, Ember Spirit put LGD under a lot of pressure, is this hero very strong in this patch? Or did you have a very good line-up vs. LGD?
A: Err..We were lucky. LGD is still very strong.
Q: Ask zhizhizhi: We have seen a lot of Monkey King lately as a carry and an offlaner. What are his strengths?
A: He is good at 1v1 and good against melee heroes.
Q: Ask Ying: Who is the strongest mid now?
A: Super, I learnt a lot about playing DP and DK from his replays.
Q: Any goals for the new season?
A: More main event appearances and better results at main events.
Q: We know the manager The、one is a veteran of SGamer. Does any of your player visit SG? How do they think of SGamers?
A: They occasionally do after the game. SGamers are really talented and we can often see something very funny or very interesting.
Q: Any words for your fans, many of who joined after seeing your ESL performance？
A: We are not forgetting where our hearts were and will brave the road ahead.
It was indeed a long road for KG. They were kicked out of ACE for their association with EHOME, who hired Wings’ players. Then they were heavily defeated by EHOME at WESG. After that they received no more invitations for tournaments. This is indeed a breakout.
