HyperX Dota 2 Leage Season 4) finals schedule was determined early (it is in fact going to be helt at CES 2014 and can't really be moved) and was scheduled between the 7th and 10th of January 2014. The leagues representative at the meeting showed that it will conflict with the new season finals of the ECL (eSports Champions League) (scheduled for early January 2014) as well as G-League 2013 finals (scheduled for January 11-12th). As previously negotiated with D2L, ACE decided that if schedule conflicts appeared, the teams involved will deal with them and decide whether to participate or not. The D2L later sent a notice that the D2L finals time wasn't set in stone so the three tournaments should have any scheduling conflicts. [note: ECL: before January 7, D2L January 7-10 , G-League January 11-12]
WPC also received invitations to a tournament held in Germany (EMS One Winter (or Fall ?) Season) held 7th to 8th of December. The invitations were for two spots at the finals and EMS/ESL would fully sponsor one of the teams/spots. After discussions, the union decided to hold qualifiers for the event where the winner receives the fully paid trip for the event, and the other spot will go to the highest placing team that agrees to cover the trip on their own. The qualifiers will be a single elimination best of three bracket and DK, LGD, iG and TongFu were seeded directly into the quarterfinals. The other six teams were drawn to be placed in the other spots of the bracket. The result was the following quarterfinals: TongFu vs RSnake, DK vs RStars/TongFu2 (WPC-A), LGD vs HGT and iG vs VG/LGD.int. As Mushi isn't in China at the moment DK is currently unable to play and the qualifier will start in early November.
The league tournament schedule is currently easy to read in calendar format, the only days in October ACE teams aren't playing were the 7th, 8th and 14th, and the only days with no games in November are the 18th and 19th. Some people now laugh, as before people were complaining about too little competition before, and now they are complaining about too much competitions and that they have no time to practice.

There is also an anecdote about iG and the TI2 trophy which I didn't really understand, but it sounded like they wanted to keep the shield or possibly create a replica to keep but wasn't allowed to...

四支队伍参加，由于赛程安排问题，四支战队均拒绝了邀请。在主办方多番邀请下，TONGFU战队决定让他们的教练团参赛，队员名单为pis，longdd，战神七，kabu，bingo。而DK俱乐部经理farseer则表示是赞助商帮他们联系的主办方，他们并没有主动与主办方进行联系。而且他们曾在两个月前就表示要去韩国参加表演赛，并表示主办方只在宣传上淡化了表演赛的性质，其实只要参加比赛就有出场费用。
D2L总决赛很早就确定了赛程，并原定于1月7日至10日举办全球总决赛。联盟赛事负责人在会议上表明D2L总决赛将会与ECL年度总决赛（1月初），还有G联赛总决赛（1.11-1.12）冲突。且后面两个比赛均表示无法更改比赛时间。因为之前曾与D2L赛事组协商过比赛时间，所以联盟内部决定不再要求D2L组委会更改总决赛时间，如果发现赛程冲突的情况，由俱乐部自己决定参加哪个比赛。后来接到D2L组委会通知称总决赛时间未定，因此三个赛事应该不会有时间上的冲突。
联盟收到了在德国举办的EMS邀请赛的邀请函。该比赛将在12月7日、8日进行。主办方表示可以给中国两个邀请名额，但是只负责一支战队的差旅费。经过讨论后，联盟决定举办内部的选拔赛，选拔赛的冠军将获得负责差旅费的邀请名额，另外一个名额可以任意申请。内部选拔赛的赛事为BO3单败，DK，LGD，IG，TONGFU作为种子队通过抽签被分在四个赛区。其他6支队伍再抽签来决定最终的对阵表。抽签结果为，TONGFU（A1），Rsnake（A2），DK（B1），Rstar（B2），TONGFU2队（B2），LGD（C1），HGT（C2），IG（D1），LGD.int（D2），VG（D2）。由于mushi回国办理护照，所以DK战队暂时无法进行比赛。选拔赛将在11月初决出结果。
笔者向联盟赛事负责人要了一份联盟的赛程日历，从日历中不难看出，10月份仅有7、8、14日三天是无比赛日，而11月则只有18、19日两天为无比赛日。有人调侃称，之前选手每天抱怨比赛少，现在则抱怨比赛太多，连练训的时间都少了很多。
有个小趣闻是IG在TI2上获得的冠军盾只举了一下就被V社收回，IG俱乐部曾多次进行沟通，甚至想让V社提供尺寸自己做一个模拟品，均被V社驳回。话说，世界杯的奖杯不是还能让冠军保存四年吗？
