For the second time, a player in that major tournament managed to somehow run out of time on the clock. I personally think the amount of time one is given during tournament mode is quite fine: it keeps games from going on forever and stops the endless roping that can occur in titles like Hearthstone.
However, as a spectator, a player just losing from running out of time is far from satisfying. The most recent being the 2nd loss due to timeout in that tournament that can be seen at: https://clips.twitch.tv/AdorableCoyWhaleSeemsGood
It seems odd for the entire game to be lost at the point. As time refreshes every round, why not just have the player auto-pass at that point until the next round over forcing a forfeit? It would allow for games to end far more naturally especially as the final turns it skips likely won't completely doom the player with poor time management.
