Sir Action Slacks will be participating in TI 2017 as an official interviewer, a position that he also held in 2016. Fun fact: Sir Action Slacks was a casual TF2 player before picking up Dota 2. On his YouTube channel, you can find TF2 content dating back to 2011.

On July 20th, EternalEnvy joined Cloud9's re-formed Dota 2 team - a move that had the community buzzing. This wave of excitement propelled him back into the top 5. Back then, he played for Team Secret. Cloud9 will be participating in TI 2017, so he probably won't be streaming too frequently for the foreseeable future!

Admiral Bulldog and SingSing, two former pro players, won't be competing at TI 2017. That said, Admiral Bulldog will be an official member of the TI 2017 panel, which is being hosted by #8 ranked Day9. Other familiar faces on the panel include PPD, Merlini, OD Pixel, and Purge, all of whom have previously cracked the top 5.

SingSing makes it five #1 finishes in six periods! In late July, he took a trip to Japan. You can follow the journey on his Twitter feed or his YouTube vlogs. With #2 ranked Admiral Bulldog occupied by TI 2017 duties, expect SingSing to again reign supreme in August.
