#5: Blue Span
Last Month's Ranking: New to list
A new creator enters the top 5! Blue Span streams simultaneously on YouTube and Twitch, though the majority of his views come from YouTube. His emergence this period can be attributed to a rise in his YouTube stream views. As of writing, he's been bouncing around mid-5K MMR for a week in his quest to reach 6K.
#4: Day[9]
Last Month's Ranking: #8
The student overtakes the master! Day[9]'s Dota coach, Purge, didn't make this period's rankings after beating Day[9] by three ranks in the previous period. Day[9] managed to pull off the reversal despite a series of Internet issues during the last week of June (follow his tweets to experience his pain). On a more positive note, Day[9] recently celebrated his birthday.
#3: Arteezy
Last Month's Ranking: #8
Arteezy managed to reclaim a top 5 rank after a busy tournament schedule. He and Evil Geniuses put up some solid finishes during the past few months; they placed 2nd in June's EPICENTER 2017, 1st in May's Manila Masters, and 3rd - 4th in April's Kiev Major 2017. Evil Geniuses was also one of six teams to receive a direct invite to The International 2017.
#2: Admiral Bulldog
Last Month's Ranking: #1
The battle for #1 once again boils down to Admiral Bulldog and SingSing! After finishing ahead last period, Admiral Bulldog yielded back to SingSing this time, despite a strong showing across YT and Twitch. In June, he and SingSing teamed up with Cancel, Gorgc, and mdL to compete in The International 2017 open qualifier #2 under "Team DingDong."
#1: SingSing
Last Month's Ranking: #2
This period marks SingSing's fourth #1 finish in five periods. SingSing and Admiral Bulldog's pickup open qualifier team was aiming for a spot in the Europe Main TI 2017 Qualifiers. Unfortunately, they bowed out in the round of 32. It was a decent showing for the two retired pros, but the general consensus was that Team DingDong had the talent to progress further. There's always next year!
