Thanks!!! Cant believe invoker is on such a slump , also abit surprised to see earth spirit with such a low win rate!!!! Dazzle is beyond bad this Meta cuz of Axe (alliance please stop picking it!!!). Is NP being picked so little that i dont see it on the charts ?

Dazzle is bad when not facing Axe too. I think he doesn't do enough at low levels. Compare the impact of Ogre, KOTL, ET, or SD at level 2 or 3 vs. Dazzle.
And yea, NP is in the 0-10% range. Here's where I assume OP got the numbers http://www.dotabuff.com/esports/events/126 (i mourn the loss of datdota but dotabuff stepped up their esports section)

Only because the early parts of Day 1 see the meta starting. By the end of day 1, most of the top picks were getting really common.
ET and Shadow Demon are the ones I expect to keep being banned. The rest will be played around. Mirana is actually pretty underwhelming if you're prepared. ET & SD bring things that, when paired well, make High Ground attack & defense significantly easier. Though ET better than SD.
I expect Mirana is going to be a stable pick, as it's not something worth banning. Though the main power that makes her so valuable is the late-game Moonlight Shadow. This is because everyone had been going Melee Cores going into TI, so Mirana is really strong at breaking up fights with them. Those few seconds, mid-fight, where a melee core can't target can be huge. Especially when you have short-duration Ultimates. Thus the rise of a lot more Ranged Cores and, well, Juggernaut, haha.
Though teams have gotten noticeably better at dealing with Tinker. (Better approaches to High Ground attack, I would think.) Though maybe the Tinker meta was just a flash in the pan.

Invoker 33 % (5 - 15) 5-15 is a 25% win rate. I think he's 5-10, no?
Also, sweet post. Always love these.

Naga's finally above Alchemist :D
Also somewhat interesting, Mirana and Batrider are the two top most contested picks but the following 4 all have much higher ban rates than them. Maybe it's because their flexibility allows them to also be picked up later in the draft, while heroes like Drow and Io are generally going to be picked when a team goes into the draft planning to center a strat around them?

Batrider has won 28 of 65 matches, for 43% winrate. He's useful, clearly, but it also means that the hero isn't a key part of turning the Draft into your favor. (Probably because, as most teams approach High Ground attack, he's not that great and easy to pick off.)
This happens in all Metas. The hero is good enough to first phase, but isn't strong enough to ban. If you remember TI5, that was Gyrocopter.

Thank you Qody for this!

It's amazing just how far Phoenix has fallen compared to how much people complained about the hero.
