Hobbes
30th May 2004 - 14th May 2016
Felt like writing something about my beloved buddy but would also like the anonymity of a forum such as TL.
After his surgery (tumour in his spleen) in Oct of last year, I've already accepted the fact that if he's suffering too much, it is best to put him to sleep. The past couple of days have been really tough for the little dude. You could see his breathing getting really quick and shallow, even his usual gait changed, looking like it took all of his efforts to take a couple of steps forward. A trip to the vet confirmed that his lungs are affected by the cancer, and he was most likely suffering from internal bleeding.
When it's time, it's time.
Goodbye Hobbes, you will be missed.
