The Soaring Cache, Fluttering Cache, and items in the Fall 2015 Compendium dominated the list despite being removed from the store on November 24th. The Treasure of the Nested Cache, the bestselling item before the Fall Compendium was released, rose four ranks and appears poised to re-take the top spot in December. The Charm and Treasure of the Tireless Crafter, the final two treasures on our list, have remained popular since their October 12th release. The treasure contains one of the following items: Primal Firewing, Eternal Purgatory, Hinterland Stalker, Charge of the Baleful Reign, or Concealed Raven. Unfortunately, the treasure doesn't offer any bonus rare rewards.
The Artificer's Hammer and Artificer's Chisel were the most popular non-Compendium and non-treasure items during this period. The chisel adds sockets to items, while the hammer extracts gems that have already been socketed into items. Be careful if you plan on purchasing hammers and chisels outside of the Dota 2 store; the seller may have already used up some of the item's charges! Buyers should be especially wary of unusually cheap listings. Tip: You can hover over the item description in the community marketplace to display the item's remaining charges.
The Demon Eater was by far the most expensive item on the store's daily top sellers list. It ranks #34 on our overall list, which is impressive for an item that costs a whopping $34.99. We believe the Demon Eater's popularity has to do with its "coolness factor" (it turns your Shadow Fiend into a flaming demon!) and the fact that the Shadow Fiend is already such a popular hero.
