The VOD and URL is there. Those than can get around the firewall can go watch it. XiXi is the the girl that translated for Xiao8 in an interview at Ti4. Xiao8 apparently doesn't know English and agreed to whatever Igor proposed in English. Or... more underhanded tactics by LGD took place. from what xiituzi (na`vi translator) said in the blog it seems like xiao8 exceeded his authority by making the decision to postpone the game. i don't know if what helen (she was the translator for lgd, i think?) said on sgamer corroborates xiituzi's account of what happened since it's all in chinese and i'm using google translate.

Helen = XiiTuzi = Xixi (haha I know it can get a little confusing) And I have not released any statement elsewhere besides in this blog.

I wouldn't say exceed authority. The situation seems more like xiao8 didn't know what he agreed to but seemed ok with extending the series to the next day. Then the real lgd manager somehow comes out of nowhere and doesn't want to extend the series, for fear that giving a days rest will give Navi time to adapt to LGD's series strategy. That's what it says happened but its implied that because Xiao8 and the LGD manager are relatively in sync with one another, that this seemed "planned" to screw Navi over.

a) Xiao8 misunderstood. Igor keeps saying "game" and Xiao8 could have taken that to mean match (i.e. the whole BO3). b) Xiao8 was trolling. It definitely seems to me that the LGD manager and Yao have no idea what's going on, besides that they never agreed to postpone the final game.

Kind of makes you wonder what other kind of stuff like this happens in tournaments.

Granted I know zero Chinese, but that look on his face really makes it seem like he knows that he's pulling a fast one... psychologically-speaking, he doesn't stand to gain anything compared to the scenario of not involving himself in the matter to begin with and sending out the lgd manager to bargain hard for finishing the series on the same day. the former is analogous to asking for $100 for your vase. then once the buyer has agreed, sending the rightful owner of the vase out to ask for $200. it goes against human psychology to try to bargain like that. certainly no chinese (who are the best at bargaining in the world second not even to the jews) would make such a bargain. that's why i think it's a simple misunderstanding of where the inexperienced organizer was in a panic and got the first person they knew was related to lgd organization, but who may or may not have had the authority of make the decision. i suspect his impish look is b/c xiao8 got his authority overruled, so he is trying to save face. i mean think of how irked you'd be if someone came to ask you to take charged of a situation, and as soon as you made your decision a higher-up shows up to overrule you with the whole world looking on.
